SULIQUE V WAQA

Born and raised in the stunning and culturally rich archipelago of Fiji, Sulique dedicated more than 18 remarkable years of her life to tirelessly organizing and advocating for essential LGBTQ+ rights throughout the diverse region. Her inspiring journey, fueled by a commitment to equality and inclusion, led her to move to the vibrant and eclectic city of San Francisco in 2020, where she continued her mission with renewed vigor. During her extensive and impactful work for the Pacific, Sulique explored over 25 fascinating countries and unearthed countless stories of resilience and joy within the LGBTQ+ community, enriching her understanding and shaping her vision for travel that embraces inclusion, diversity and authenticity.

Sulique is the Founder & Business Owner of the South Pacific LGBTQ+ Travel LLC. In 2025, Sulique was selected as one of the recipients of the IGLTA Foundation Global Convention Fellowship, recognizing her outstanding contribution and potential in the field of LGBTQ+ travel and tourism.
